Overview

Harmos Labs ("we", "us", or "our") is dedicated to creating calm, respectful productivity software. Our philosophy is offline-first: your habits, routines, and personal data belong to you, not our servers.

This Privacy Policy explains how our applications—including Dayfold: Daily Habit Ledger (formerly Habit Tracker) and Todo Manager—handle your data.

1. Offline-First Architecture & Data Storage

All core features of Harmos Labs applications operate entirely offline on your device:

  • Your habits, tasks, completion logs, notes, and streaks are stored locally in your device's private database.
  • No account registration is required to use any core features.
  • We do not track your location, read your clipboard, or profile your personal behavior.

2. Health Connect Integration (Dayfold)

Harmos Labs Dayfold: Daily Habit Ledger integrates with Android Health Connect to automatically track select fitness metrics (such as daily steps and weight) when you grant explicit permission.

  • Local processing only: Health Connect data is accessed and processed strictly on your device to update your habit status.
  • No third-party transfer: Your Health Connect data is never transferred to external servers, sold to data brokers, or used for advertising.
  • User control: You can grant or revoke Health Connect permissions at any time through your Android device settings.

3. Optional Cloud Sync & Google Sign-In

If you choose to use cross-device backup or sync in future updates:

  • Google Sign-In is strictly optional and only used to authenticate your sync container.
  • Synced data is encrypted and used solely to restore your habits and tasks on your authorized devices.
  • We will never sell or share your sync data with third parties.

4. Third-Party Analytics and Advertising

Harmos Labs apps contain no advertisements and no third-party tracking SDKs designed to profile you across apps.

Standard anonymous crash logs may be reported through Google Play Services in accordance with Google Play's standard developer reporting to help us fix bugs.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Because your data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over its retention:

  • You can clear all stored data at any time via Android Settings > Apps > Habit Tracker > Storage > Clear Data.
  • Uninstalling the application immediately deletes all local app data from your device.
  • If you have enabled optional cloud sync, you can request full deletion of any stored backups by emailing us at harmoslabs.apps@gmail.com.

6. Children's Privacy

Our applications do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate measures.
